Our network aims to connect and empower trainers, researchers, students, professionals, businessmen and women working in energy in all parts of the world, with a special focus on Africa, to provide greater visibility, networking opportunities and professional connections between energy experts.
Membership is open to both women and men seeking to advance their energy careers by developing a strong network and enhancing leadership skills. Membership dues have been made as low as possible to remove entrance barriers. These are used to support our activities Dues or any of the association assets are not used for political contributions.

Individual Membership
Your benefits as an individual member are:
- Access to loyalty schemes.
- Access to Financing opportunities.
- Knowledge sharing and networking opportunities allow access to a pool of high-level male and female talent, that promotes the development of members and exposes you to strong recruitment opportunities.
- Have an opportunity to gain Industry recognition utilizing the ANSOLE platform.
- Be featured at all events, which allows the opportunity for personal recognition in addition to being featured on our website and newsletter.
- Access high-level mentors and licensed coaches to build the confidence of members and improved development.
- Be listed in the ANSOLE profile that will be circulated throughout the Energy footprints.
- Access ANSOLE programs and events, such as webinars, workshops, master classes, training partners, and organized training programs that will aid in increasing industry knowledge, create opportunities for improved development, increase brand value, and provide a cost-effective way of training our members.
- Have complimentary Invitations to events (with advanced notice).
- Benefit from ANSOLE’s affiliations and relationships with local and international associations and organizations.
- Have opportunities to interact with seasoned experts and professionals.
- Have an opportunity to be captured in ANSOLE’s speaker database, allowing for Speaker and Moderator Roles, that allow you to showcase your capabilities and expertise, thereby creating a platform for bigger speaking opportunities.
- Hold a university Identification document such as ID, etc.
- Be currently enrolled into a STEM or other course with interest to work in the energy sector.
- Submit the required application form.
- Abide by the terms of the ANSOLE bylaws (copies provided upon request).
Included in this category are government and non government employees. This is a 12-month membership. Prospective members must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, a technical certification, or 1 year and above professional involvement in the energy industry.
- Be currently employed (i.e., at a government ministry or agency, an energy company, non-profit organization providing services to and/or regulating energy companies, etc.)
- Submit the required application form.
- Pay Annual Individual Membership Dues.
- Abide by the terms of the ANSOLE bylaws (copies provided upon request).
Memberships are on a rolling basis, meaning if you sign up in February, your membership will expire on January 31st the following year.
(i.e., Home, Micro business owner e.g., Farmer, kiosk, milling, saloon, restaurant, etc) Prospective members must meet the following requirements:
- Has strong interest in using renewable energy/ solar technologies
- Be currently using at least one renewable/solar energy technology.
- Interested in becoming a model technology user in his/her community and wiling to be interviewed by ANSOLE and participate in ANSOLE community RE promotional events/campaigns.
- Submit the required application form.
- Abide by the terms of the ANSOLE bylaws (copies provided upon request).

Corporate Membership
Your benefits as an corporate member are:
- Exclusive access to a pool of talent and global network of renewable energy experts for events and projects. Thus, providing opportunities to interact with seasoned experts and professionals.
- A prominent highlight in the ANSOLE newsletter once a year in an interview format.
- Possibility to provide online training, webinars and/or other resources to members.
- Speaking opportunities at ANSOLE networking events that will allow corporate members to highlight their potential and promote their organizations.
- All professional events of ANSOLE initiatives and coaching circles that will enable members to develop strong knowledge in various aspects of the industry.
- Complimentary Invitations to events (with advanced notice).
- Access to high-level mentors, to build the confidence of members and improved development.
- The membership will also allow for brand visibility across all ANSOLE initiatives, websites, and events.
- Signage at all events, Logo recognition on the website, and newsletter.
Corporate membership is open to any natural or legal person (this can be a private solar company, an association/umbrella, education/research institute, an NGO, etc) identifying with the aims of ANSOLE, following their application and approval by the Governing Board. Join our network today and gain direct access to and connect with other experts in our network. The price for membership is UGX 500,000 per year.
Women associations/ networks / groups are strongly encouraged to apply – women are breaking ground in energy industry careers, the reason ANSOLE is considering this gender inclusion. Active members receive exclusive or discounted access to benefits at both the Global and Chapter levels, some of which include networking opportunities, educational and leadership programs, volunteer opportunities, and more. Our aim is to increase the proportion of women leaders in the energy sector. Our expectation is that through the Association/Network/Group, we can reach and impact more women.
